I am writing to share my review regarding my recent stay at Hyatt Regency New Orleans, LA property over the weekend of July 17th-19th. I had reserved the Superior Suite to celebrate my birthday, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations, particularly given the rate of over $500 + per night. During my two-night stay, I noted several issues with the room's condition. The furniture appeared outdated, the wood surfaces were significantly scratched, and the chairs were stained. Not to mention the TV in the living room area not working. Additionally, the sofa lounge was both ripped and heavily stained. The breakfast buffet was very nice and so was the wait staff who seated us. Given the cost, the overall experience was disappointing because comfort starts in the room on arrival. However, I would like to commend your phone operator, Ms. Lisa. When I called to inquire about my reservation, she was exceptionally kind, helpful, and professional. She answered all of my questions and kindly arranged for a birthday amenity to be sent to my room, which was the highlight of the trip. Also I have to compliment the very nice Night Auditor who was very apologetic for my stay and the room condition which was verified. Also our BellMen Benjamin was very nice and also Cam the Bell men that brought our luggage back down after our stay.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. The hotel is modern, clean, and in a great location, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. A special shout-out to Kim Iglesia at the front desk. He was exceptionally welcoming, professional, and friendly from the moment I arrived. He made the check-in process smooth and took the time to ensure everything was in order. His outstanding customer service and genuine hospitality made me feel like a valued guest and truly elevated my stay. Thank you to Kim and the entire Hyatt Regency New Orleans team for such a memorable experience. I look forward to staying here again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New Orleans.

Phenomenal hotel to stay at one of the best Hyatt Regency's around. One of the best breakfast buffets out there. I came for a weekend getaway with the wife as a globalist. They upgraded our room to a suite. I stayed for about a week for work. Didn't get upgraded but room was still good size and plenty quiet with cold AC. The only downside of this hotel is the parking situation with the valet in the company had an issue with one of my checked vehicles that I'm still trying to get resolved however, honestly don't think it's going to be worth the time or the effort.

Had a great stay at the hotel. Staff were fast and friendly. Norman the Doorman might be my new best friend. That brotha put a smile on my face. The elevator system was a little wonky with the touchscreen but I'm nitpicking at this point. Great location. The kitchen bar restaurant had a terrific breakfast buffet. I'd stay here again

Nice stay and amenities. Location wise, too much traffic and crowded place. It has pool but outdoor one. During our 3 day stay, we were offered vallet parking $31/day. Which is comparatively economical than neighboring buildings or parking lots. This hotel amenities include multiple huge dining and conference halls. Staffs were good and co operative. Room service was excellent, daily room cleaning and linen changing was excellent.

My main concern was being alone in a new city and the need to feel safe and comfortable. Very nice, clean, family friendly hotel. I had a five day four night stay here. My room was cleaned daily and the staff was very professional. The location is pretty convenient to explore the city. I also traveled to Mississippi which was only about an hour away. I would definitely stay here again and also recommend this hotel to others especially if you have children.

We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel from start to finish. The service was incredible, and everyone made our stay feel so comfortable and stress-free. A special thank you to Carlos, who truly went above and beyond for our family during our trip. Traveling with a two-year-old, a stroller, and what felt like endless bags can be overwhelming, but Carlos was always there to help with a smile. He helped us with every Uber ride we needed, loading and unloading all of our luggage each time without hesitation. His kindness, patience, and positive attitude made such a difference during our stay. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely helpful and caring, and Carlos made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. We are so grateful for all of his help and would absolutely stay here again because of the amazing service we received!

Valet was overwhelmed and understaffed to say the least. The front desk had the same vibe and explained nothing. But it isn't our first time and won't be the last. Location is great. It's safe. The expensive breakfast buffet is the best I've ever been to. The service at the restaurant where the buffet is at is the BEST SERVICE!!!! 5 ?. The elevator greater person (older black gentleman) had top service as well. He went over and beyond helping me (in a wheelchair at the time) and my entire family (kid included) into the elevators multiple times and was super genuine and kind. The gym is one of the best ever, and the views omg! Yessss. Serving all the photo oops in this Oasis! See u next year Hyatt regency. #imasnationals

Why does your in room advertising show guests using horses as living painting canvases? That’s encouraging inappropriate behavior toward live animals. Won’t be staying at a Hyatt ever again! Do Better ! Very disappointing to see that flash across the tv screen. Also, consider updating your dated mobile device speaker systems. They’re about 15 years past their usefulness.

This property is nicely located beside the Caeser's Superdome and the Smoothie King Centre, and walking distance to the River Walk. The public spaces were ornate, vast and clean. However, the block of rooms we had for a conference were in a part of the hotel that really showed its age. The hallways were not clean and looked worn. It was a fair walk from the front lobby to the tower with the rooms, so for people with mobility issues, this may a problem.
