Stayed here June 3-9th, check in was a breeze!! Ms. Donna was the BEST !!! Ms. Donna shared some of her favorite restaurants in the vicinity and what to do in the area. While I was there the TOMATO FESTIVAL was going on. There is no parking, you have to find a place to park. If you don’t need a car don’t get one. Everything is in walking distance. The room was cozy, lots of light, lots of room/space. The bathroom was spacious. The water pressure was great with loads of hot water. The only problem was two days in the television went out. After telling everyone that sat at the front desk about the issue with the television Saturday night the young lady comes up to try to resolve the issue. She tried. Sunday a maintenance worker came in ten minutes later he had it on! Wow ! I would stay here again. T. S. Room 420

I wasted over two weeks going back and forth trying to get a refund, only to be caught in a ridiculous cycle between La Galerie Hotel and Airbnb. La Galerie claimed Airbnb had to issue the refund, while Airbnb insisted the hotel had to handle it. It was the definition of “the chicken or the egg,” and absolutely exhausting to deal with. In the end, no refund was granted. What made the experience even worse was the way I was treated by the hotel staff. I have honestly never been treated so rudely or meanly by hotel employees in my life. The behavior, attitude, and lack of professionalism were shocking. Instead of trying to help resolve the issue, I felt dismissed, blamed, and completely disrespected throughout the entire process. Travel is expensive, and people work hard for their money. I strongly advise others to invest their hard-earned money elsewhere. There are far too many hotels in New Orleans that actually value customer service and treat guests with basic respect.

My experience here was the worse experience I ever had in New Orleans. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked. As soon as we got to our room I turned on the TV and found out that the TV was broken. There was a huge crack on the screen. I decided to check the TV in the other room as well. There was no crack on it but that one didn't work either. I didn't want to be responsible for something we didn't break so I tried to notify the front desk person using the phone in my room and that as well didn't work. The lady at the front desk said there is no one here at the moment to help resolve the issue. So we asked to be moved to another room but she said they were at full capacity and she couldn't do anything for us that night. She said she will notify the manager and maintenance to help but the next day no one ever came by to check on us. It appears that they don't care for their guests at all. No one cared to check back on us to see if there was anything they can do to make our stay better or anything. I believe they hoped that the problem will go away on its own. We were pretty ignored the rest of our stay. Upon checking out my husband decided to get the car so that we don't have to carry our luggage through the streets. When he got to the car he found out that we got booted. We paid the hotel $40 a night for parking that we had to drive to park ourselves. He called for help and I went to the front desk lady and again there was no manager to help us. There was nothing she can do for us. My husband was so frustrated that he went ahead and paid the boot fee which was $150. So now we were charged $80 by the hotel for parking plus the boot fee of $150. We could have stayed at a better hotel with better service for the additional amount we paid for parking issues. If you are going to stay at this hotel I suggest you park on your own and pay the lot directly otherwise you would be in the same scenario as us. Besides you will have to park on your own anyway. They give you a printed out instruction that isn't to clear and is highly possible that you end up parking in the wrong lot and will get booted which the hotel said there is nothing they can do for you or even try to help. They will tell you just to pay the boot fee. I would advise not to stay here because if you come across any issues like we did there will be NO ONE AROUND TO HELP YOU. THEY HAVE THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I EVER HAD AT ANY HOTEL. It was my birthday and my husband wanted to give me a good experience. Other than our problematic stuff with the hotel New Orleans was great and I had a great birthday with my family. I wish my hotel was better.

Really quaint and enjoyable little hotel centrally located in downtown New Orleans. Everything was conveniently located within walking distance. Love the French inspired decor overall. The carpet in the hallways could be replaced but otherwise fairly clean.

We recently stayed at the La Galerie hotel for a week and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff was incredibly warm and attentive from the moment we checked in. We really enjoyed our room, it had charm. The location is perfect, walking distance to Cafe Du Monde, Jackson square, all the places we love to visit. We will definitely be coming back! Shout out to the most wonderful staff, Jhoan, Ms. Jeanette, Ryan and Leticia. Everyone was super friendly and gave great recommendations. I miss them all already

One of the best hotels if not the best in New Orleans. The hotel is exceptionally clean, which to me is the most important quality in any hotel. The atmosphere is very quiet and calm. I have already recommended this hotel to almost all of my friends. Marcela at the front desk deserves special recognition she is absolutely awesome, with a charming personality and outstanding customer service. Honestly, everyone on the staff was great and made the stay even more enjoyable. I truly love this hotel and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for bringing such an amazing hotel to this country and for setting such a high standard in hospitality.

This was our first time staying with you — we usually stay at a Marriott when visiting New Orleans — but we were so impressed and will absolutely be back. The location is perfect: close to great shopping and excellent dining options. I especially loved the complimentary Mardi Gras King Cake–flavored coffee and the lemon water — such a thoughtful and welcoming touch. Our room was very spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The tall ceilings were lovely, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Every host we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and helpful, which truly made our stay even better. I also loved how easy it was to walk to some of my favorite nearby spots, and being attached to Coterie was a huge plus — the food there is amazing! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We truly enjoyed our experience and look forward to returning.

it was very hard to sleep there was a lot of noise outside i think it was construction that started around 6am on a Saturday??? The rooms also need better air quality it was very hot then very cold all night I could not get comfortable the air also gets musty when u do this. The sun was very bright in my eyes, you need to get some blinds or better curtains. Staff was very kind and held my doordash for me, love them!!!!!!!!

We’ve stayed at La Galerie Hotel many times and always enjoy it. The location is excellent, within walking distance to the French Quarter while still feeling quiet and comfortable. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the hotel has a charming, relaxed feel. A solid choice for repeat visits to New Orleans.

Great experience!!! ?????????? We were able to check in early (11:00am) since our room was available. And we also checked out early (4:15am) to catch our flight home. Everyone & everything in the days between our check in & check out was great! Convenient location, friendly/helpful staff, and daily maid service (which I haven’t had in years). I will definitely recommend La Galerie to any friends or family visiting NOLA.
