We had an outstanding stay at JW Marriott, and what truly made it memorable was the exceptional hospitality from every member of the staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone greeted us with genuine warmth and kindness. Traveling with our children can sometimes be challenging, but the staff went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome. One moment that really stood out was when a staff member noticed our young daughter walking through the lobby and surprised her with a stuffed crocodile. It absolutely made her day, and she carried it with her everywhere throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with beautiful city views. The beds provided a great night’s sleep, the bathroom was immaculate, and we were welcomed with a delicious chocolate cake waiting in our room a thoughtful touch after a long day of traveling. The Executive Lounge was another highlight. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we appreciated that the menu rotates daily, offering something new each morning. The fresh smoothies and açaí berry bowls were especially refreshing, along with the wide variety of hot dishes, pastries, fresh fruit, and high-quality coffee. It was one of the best executive lounge breakfasts we’ve experienced. We also loved the artist in the lobby who created complimentary caricatures for guests, adding a fun and personal touch to the experience.

I really thought the hotel I was beautiful. Definitely had room for improvement. When booking there was nothing to tell you the pool was not open due to renovations( who decides to do that during summer) they offered for us to walk across the street and use that one. We went to use the gym and used the bathroom on that 8th floor and it had cockroaches! I was extremely disappointed to see that for the amount of money paying for this hotel and being Bonvoy members it was disappointing. I expected better. After that I was afraid to put my suitcases and bags on the floor unzipped. Yuk! Also surprised that I could hear the family and there kids in the room next door…. When I told staff member that they were extremely loud late late in the evening and could hear the kids at the crack of dawn she was rude and said I can only tell them to quiet down if I hear them ( umm but you’re not in the room late a night, but okay) The gentleman working the tables in bar area was so charming. Bruno was kind. That’s about it.

Honestly, we've been on the road quite a bit lately, and sometimes hotels can start to blend together, but your place was a total game-changer. It genuinely felt like every single detail was thoughtfully curated just for us, making it such a refreshing experience. Every member of your team was simply phenomenal. From the moment we pulled up, the valet and bell staff were so welcoming. The folks in the executive lounge and at the bar went above and beyond, and even those early morning walks to the gym were brightened by all the cheerful 'good mornings'! It’s clear that hospitality is an art form for you all. The amenities were top-notch, and our room was such a luxurious haven. We truly felt pampered and completely at ease. It was such a memorable trip, and we're already buzzing with excitement about planning our next visit. Thanks a million for making our time with you so wonderfully special!

Stayed at JW Marriott New Orleans and had a wonderful experience. The location is incredibly strategic — close to the French Quarter, restaurants, shopping areas, and many attractions, making it very convenient to explore New Orleans on foot. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. Service from the staff was consistently warm, professional, and attentive throughout the stay. What I appreciated most was that the hotel offers the quality and comfort expected from JW Marriott, while still feeling reasonably affordable for the value, location, and experience provided. A great choice for anyone visiting New Orleans — whether for leisure or business.

Stayed 4 nights at the JW Marriott New Orleans, the location is excellent. Short walking distance to Jackson Square, Cafe Du Monde, Bourbon St and many more. Both room and bathroom were very spacious. My only gripe with the bathroom would be the shower shelf was very small to hold your product and theirs. Could also use another towel bar. Not a deal breaker but could be improved. We dined in the lounge a couple of late evenings, food and service both excellent. Makes for a great spot to relax after a long day of walking. We also upgraded to include Executive Lounge access for the same cost as a regular room. Keep an eye out for that promo, it’s a good deal. Light food offerings and snacks are great for on-the-go itineraries. Would stay here again.

Excellent hotel with the friendliest staff! They really made my birthday weekend feel special. The treat left in my room was such a boost after a disappointing lunch at Bourbon House. The staff are the best in town.

This is an amazing hotel. We have stayed here twice during Mardi Gras, and the treatment by staff could not be better; they are by far the hardest working staff I have ever seen at any hotel ever. From the maids, the concierge, the food and bar service, their level of attention and perfection should be studied and taught. I don't believe they own phones because I never saw the staff holding one in my whole weeks stay. They are all quick with a smile, ask about your day, ask if you need anything. One morning, we popped back into our room after breakfast before heading back out for the day, and you could tell the maid had been there but hadn't finished. She came back just as we were leaving, and apologized profusely and sweetly for needing to go get something we were out of, even though we must have laughingly told her 10x there was no need to apologize.l. This hotel even went above and beyond during the Mardi Gras festivities by offering different special amenities free of charge. They were not advertised, were not cheap, were impressive, and were not necessary on their part. If I could give this hotel 10 stars if I could. It is worth the price tag. It was immaculate the whole week, and that is no easy feat during Mardi Gras.

Stayed at the JW Marriott during Mardi Gras. The rooms were ok and the location is very convenient for getting around the city. The bellman was the highlight of the stay. He was personable, welcoming, and provided great service from the moment we arrived. We were also able to check in early, which I appreciated. Service overall was mixed. Front desk interactions felt more transactional than warm, and response times were slower than expected. Housekeeping was missed one day, and it took about an hour to receive towels after calling. I understand Mardi Gras is a very busy time, but with premium pricing I expected a more polished and consistent experience. Not a bad stay, just not quite the level of service I anticipated.

Great hotel!! Very nice and clean room, lobby, bar and elevators! Loved the back entrance onto Canal st.! Honestly the shower was very nice! Alan the concierge was amazing, super friendly, warm and inviting! He always had a great recommendation for us and you could tell he was genuinely happy to help! Our Room Attendant Karolina was great! Super efficient and kept our room very clean and organized! It always felt so great to walk back into a clean and organized room at the end of a busy and long day!

First time visitor wanting to experience the Mardi Gras parades in NOLA. Walk right out the back door, and you have great seating to see the all-day parade festivities. Great security measures in requiring room key to enter bldg, restrooms and restaurant. Let me say how wonderful the staff was !!! We arrived on Friday 2/6/26. Our bellhop (I hate I didn’t get his name), was wonderful! Super friendly and helpful. We stayed out late watching Friday night parade. Cherl (with loss prevention) made sure we found our elevators with ease late at night. Super friendly! We enjoyed dinner and drinks too. George was the man and super friendly! Saturday we enjoyed the all day parade festivities. Jamie made my hurricane drink to perfection & topped off with crab burger and super French fries! Wonderful meal for dinner! Checked out Sunday morning. The restaurant staff, bell hops, valet drivers were all on point and made our check out process go smoothly and quickly. Would highly recommend & will definitely be back !
