The Embassy Suites by Hilton New Orleans offers a convenient location near the cruise port and the French Quarter, with generally friendly staff and a complimentary breakfast and evening reception. However, some guests have reported dated rooms, maintenance issues like noisy pipes and slow elevators, and inconsistent service quality, particularly regarding housekeeping and poolside amenities.
The front desk at Embassy Suites New Orleans were amazing. My family had booked an Airbnb in New Orleans that was not up to our standards so we needed to find an alternate place for the night. The front staff was so accommodating! They found us 2 adjoining rooms for my husband and I with 2 teenaged boys for the night with no reservation. The rooms were very clean and the room service was awesome. We would like to extend our gratitude to the 2 gentlemen at front desk on Wednesday 6/03. They have no idea how much we appreciate them. We highly recommend Embassy Suites New Orleans!
The staff at the hotel is friendly, responsive and so professional. They will do everything they can to make your visit wonderful. The property itself needs some renovations to match its outstanding staff. It also lacks some modern conveniences like night stands with charging ports, Spa shower heads And comfortable flooring. You can almost overlook its age and being dated for its prime location and delicious hot breakfast. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.
We enjoyed our stay at the Embassy suites. We were on the fifth floor and could look down at the atrium. The murals on the walls are so intriguing and fun! Breakfast was terrific along with the made to order omelette Station – the lady with the glasses and red tint to her black hair making omelettes was super sweet. The young lady restocking and cleaning up the coffee area was extremely pleasant. CeCe at the Hilton Getaway desk is very informative, kind and personable - loved her! We would book a getaway a year with her! The room could use some touching up and the ac fan was extremely loud, but they said they were going to address that. The only other thing we would've liked is a microwave. But the room was spacious and it's proximity to the cruise port excellent. Finally, but most importantly, everyone was very nice!
Our stay here at Embassy Suites was great! The staff was great especially Marvin! We arrived tired from our cruise and Marvin checked us in quickly so that we could rest. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was yummy as usual and we liked the evening reception.
Here is a polished Google review you can post: ????? I had an exceptional experience at this Embassy Suites New Orleans thanks to the outstanding customer service from the manager, Marvin, and the front desk agent, Aaron. There was an issue with our reservation through Hotels.com, and understandably I was very frustrated. However, Marvin and Aaron handled the situation with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. Marvin was especially great at keeping me calm while working quickly to resolve the problem, and both of them made sure everything was fixed in a timely manner. I have stayed at several Embassy Suites locations, but this one truly stood out because of the excellent customer service. Thank you, Marvin and Aaron, for your professionalism, kindness, and for helping us with a smile. Your dedication to great service made all the difference!
Aaron at the front desk provided excellent service during my stay. He was very friendly, professional, and helpful from the moment I arrived. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and he made sure I had everything I needed. Great customer service and a great first impression of the hotel!
I am a travel advisor and traveled with a group of 50 guests. We stayed at the Embassy for 1 night pre-cruise. Everything was great. The only thing that I can really see room for improvement is the evening reception. The lines were very long and there was only 1 bartender. The snacks were dry snack mix and some chips. I have stayed at other Embassy properties that had hot Hors d'oeuvres and were more plentiful. That being said, I would stay here again, and I still send my clients to this property.
I’m so amused to read that this is a “four star” hotel. Nothing about this hotel is four stars. They need to update. Rooms are basic. Shower didn’t drain. Luke warm water one night to shower in. Breakfast not available when the 4000 volleyball kids that were around needed it early in the morning on a weekend. You would think with the entire hotel being full of them management would accommodate, but no. It’s perfectly fine to stay in, but please don’t consider it a four star hotel. It’s 2 to 3.
My stay at the Embassy Suites New Orleans during Mardi Gras was amazing. My Bacchus Suite was top tier for sure, it had plenty of space, the balcony had a great few of the parade and the housekeeping staff was awesome. The location was the greatest, it was close to everything, very easy to find. The front desk staff, Marvin, Nicholas and Aaron were phenomenal. They WORKED, and made sure everyone was accommodated on every level and they did it EFFORTLESSLY and efficiently. Thank you guys for making our stay here unforgettable!!!
First off, we got this hotel because we're going on an NCL cruise. We can walk to the port from here. So that's great. The staff have been good too. Didn't need much so not a lot to compare. But if you NEED to sleep, this is not the place. The street noise is insane. The hotel has an old charm, but that comes with loud pipes and thin walls. So you hear everyone around you. This is a great hotel to meet up with friends and party in New Orleans.
