I went to enjoy breakfast after a workout I partook in the fitness room. My server Janae was very attentive to my requests for my meal and greeted me with a smiling facing no matter how many questions I asked. I also met another server Bri. She too was made sure things flowed smoothly in the dining hall. Great team!

We had breakfast at the Canopy with Avi as our server, he was very welcoming from the start as he greeted us at the host stand, and followed us to our table. Such an attentive, kind, and welcoming person! For a hotel restaurant it was pretty busy and I can see why. Service was great! And the food was delicious! Avi recommended we try the shrimp and grits and crab cake Benedict, compliments to the chef. Blown away by the flavors. Definitely not expecting this type of service and food at the Canopy, so glad we left our for our day to explore New Orleans on a great foot!

Really nice play to stay. The breakfast at Ginger Roux was amazing. Veggie Omelette came with Fresh Fruit and a Biscuit - delicious. I’ve never had Grits with Gouda - amazing. Thanks to the cook - April and we had the best Server - Bre. She was very nice and knowledgeable of what the restaurant offered.

I had a wonderful experience at Canopy New Orleans Downtown! Avi, the bartender, was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and made some great drinks. His positive attitude and excellent customer service really stood out and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Janae and Bre were also fantastic! They were professional, friendly, and always made sure we had everything we needed. Their teamwork, attention to detail, and warm personalities made our dining experience even more enjoyable. The service from all three was exceptional, and they truly went above and beyond. I highly recommend Canopy New Orleans Downtown, and I look forward to visiting again!

Amazing. We arrived at 6:15am ish and were able to get in right away. Staff was incredibly friendly. Sadly I didn’t get the name of the check in staff because we had taken the red eye and I was struggling to stay awake. Breakfast was phenomenal, between our party we had three different dishes and they were all delicious. The music was at a great level and super relaxing. Bre was our server and she was an absolute gem. 10 out of 10 would stay here again.

Great place to stay! The rooms are hella clean and organized. Staff is amazing and so helpful. At the bar and restaurant, Hannah and Avi are AMAZING! Great conversation and they make the best drinks! Hannah gave some of the best restaurant recs!!! Lastly, they have bikes you can use for no charge and it was the highlight of my NOLA trip!

Her warm hospitality and attention to detail truly set the tone for a memorable celebration. The breakfast was absolutely delicious—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. What made the experience even better was the outstanding customer service from Janae and Bre during breakfast. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The combination of exceptional hospitality, excellent service, and amazing food made my birthday truly special. Thank you to Ms. Lashan, Janae, and Bre for creating such a wonderful five-star experience. I highly recommend Canopy by Hilton Downtown and look forward to returning!

Had a great stay overall! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The service throughout the hotel was excellent, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to Hannah at the bar—she was amazing! She was attentive, personable, and made the experience even better with her positive attitude and great service. She really stood out and made us feel right at home. The location was also fantastic and made it easy to enjoy everything around the area. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

EXCELLENT Service!! If I could have given Service 10 stars I would have done so. The whole staff was excellent. The food was great and a special shout out to Janae who made sure I felt at home and had my coffee!! Everyone was so helpful. Glenn was out every morning with a smile asking how we were enjoying our stay. I felt safe in the hotel and the area. The rooms were spacious and everything was clean!! This will be our "go to" place when we go back to New Orleans. Thank You to everyone who made our stay EXCELLENT!!!

I had an amazing stay at the hotel, and a huge part of that was thanks to Danielle, the Food and Beverage Manager. She went above and beyond to make sure every dining experience was exceptional. Her professionalism, warm personality, and attention to detail truly stood out. Danielle made sure that every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, and her staff reflected the same high standards of service. She was always visible, checking on guests and making sure everyone was satisfied, which made the experience feel very personal and welcoming. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and passionate about hospitality. Danielle’s leadership clearly has a positive impact on both the team and the guests. She made our stay memorable, and I would absolutely return because of the outstanding service she provided.
