Beautiful hotel. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Room is immaculate and very comfortable. Restaurant was closed over the Memorial Day weekend, but we were able to order good food in the bar area. The rooftop bar is great, gotta visit that for an after dinner drink. Breakfast was very good. Parking is self-parking in the WWII garage next door, easy. Concierge, porter, bartenders, wait staff, desk, were all great. Highly recommended. Thank you

A truly spectacular experience! The Higgins Hotel is a masterpiece of Art Deco design and a beautiful tribute to the WWII era. Every detail, from the lobby murals to the period-inspired decor in the rooms, is thoughtfully curated. It’s elegant, historic, and incredibly comfortable. If you’re visiting the WWII Museum, staying here is a must—it makes the whole experience feel complete. 5 stars for the style and the soul of this place!

The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. No issue on the facilities side. However, the front desk experience significantly impacts the overall stay. The staff consistently comes across as unfriendly, cold, and at times unprofessional. This was not an isolated interaction, but a pattern observed throughout my 4-night stay. Simple requests are handled with little sense of hospitality. For example, when I asked for a 30-minute late check-out, the response was simply “we are running a business here,” which felt abrupt and dismissive. A more customer-oriented response, even if declining, would have made a big difference. Across multiple interactions, the tone felt transactional and at times confrontational rather than welcoming. Even collecting a package from the mail room became unnecessarily rigid and uncomfortable. In addition, some of the in-room amenities could be improved. The shower gel, in particular, had an unpleasant texture and felt sticky, which does not align with the otherwise good standard of the room. Given the price point, the level of service and overall attitude at the front desk do not match expectations. Hospitality should be a core part of the experience, not a weak point. As it stands, I would not return. The hotel has strong fundamentals, but without a clear improvement in service culture and customer approach, it falls short of what the pricing suggests

We had the pleasure of hosting an event at the WWII Higgins Hotel Patriot Room. The accommodations are decorated in patriotic colors and a comfortable but roomy setting. Among the decor is Patton's grand piano - which is kept perfectly tuned! Audio visual aids are available. Seating is comfortable and ample. The food was OUTSTANDING! Kudos to the chef! It was simply delicious and the tables were kept supplied with fresh quantities. Most outstanding among the offerings were the lamb lollipops. Not to be outdone by the wonderful surroundings and food, the staff was exemplary. All the attendants were wonderful. Rebecca was in charge of the event and ensured every need was met before we knew we needed it. It would be impossible to overstate how fantastic she is! I hope someone at the Higgins takes notice and gives her the recognition she deserves for a job well done!

We went to New Orleans specifically to go to the WWII museum. The hotel is directly across the street from the museum, making it the perfect location. We spent four nights at the hotel. The room was spacious and clean and very quiet. Once inside the room, you didn't hear anything. The staff were friendly and always helpful. One member of the staff, Julia, in the Cafe Normandie was extremely professional, friendly and went out of her way to accomondate us. A parking garage is adjacent to the hotel. If you are going to the WWII museum this is definitely the place to stay.

Our wedding guests stayed at the Higgins Hotel, and they absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic — right by the WWII Museum — and being able to enjoy Rosie’s on the Roof with its amazing views was such a highlight for everyone. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the hotel was and how convenient everything felt, from the surrounding attractions to the incredible rooftop experience. We were so happy with their stay and would highly recommend the Higgins Hotel to anyone hosting a group or celebrating a special occasion in New Orleans.

Cool hotel w/ interesting WW2 vibe. The WW2 museum actually owns the hotel. Hotel was clean, comfy, newish, and had a rooftop restaurant which had amazing catfish. I have hilton status so they helped me switch my room which was nice. I liked how the hotel goes out of their way to show service members of all races and backgrounds in the rooms, like the black pilots. Customer service was fantastic. Was here for a wedding a week before Christmas (who does that??), but next time I come, def staying here and want to see the museum and explore more. Highly-recommend this place.

Stayed multiple days at the Higgins Hotel to include Christmas 2025. The location is great, it is right next door to the National WWII museum. Walking, to Bourbon Street is a little over a mile. The Mississippi River and the French Quarters market is a little further. But easy walking

Hotel with a beautiful lobby and nice WWII era decorations. The location was convenient for the conference center. There are restaurants and a coffee shop/convenience store. Room was nice, with a fridge and complementary bottled water. Minor complaints: the water in the shower was quite soft; the coffee shop said they had a cookie butter latte but they didn't!; service staff was competent but not very friendly. There's some seating areas in the lobby that are playing this WWII era music and hearing that music gets old after a while, haha. Would definitely stay again, and would recommend to stay at for AGU and other conferences!

Stayed here to celebrate a friend's birthday. The hotel is very nice. It was decorated for Christmas and it looked great. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. There are also bars and restaurants in the hotel. It is next to the WWII museum. They offer room service. We found all employees to be very nice. I would definitely stay here again when in New Orleans.
