Rented out a room for a night out. It was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was peaceful, staff was amazing and so sweet, and everything was in a good walking distance. Definitely cant wait to come back again.

Booked a room on whim based on the aesthetics of online pictures and absolutely loved my stay here. Though I spent most of my time outside of the hotel/my room, I loved the history and how picture perfect it was. When I arrived, I got the backstory about the hotel previously being a family home with cottages in the back for guests. There are only 2 balcony's that 3 rooms have access to. Being my lucky day, I got one of the rooms with the shared balcony, that hosts skyline views. There is a lower courtyard patio for the social media worthy photo ops as well as a rooftop bar. I did see other guests checking in, but rarely saw or heard anything outside of that. Loved the large windows for the natural lighting (there are shades to drop for privacy). They offer housekeeping by request only, which I prefer. There is not room service, but I don't ever utilize it, even if it's an option. I caught an Uber from the airport but looks like there is street parking on the block and is just a few blocks outside of the quarter, definitely still walkable to/from though. Over all I would love to come back to my exact room on another trip.

AMAZING HOTEL. I literally have no idea why the reviews on here are mixed. My experience was perfect. We had everything we needed and everyone was so nice. We felt very safe and loved the BYOB rooftop. Beautiful everything. Lots of good priced parking nearby.

We were content with everything in the room except the temperature. I did not get much sleep because the room was too hot. The ac was not working and the hotel had a temporary mobile air unit in the room but I feel it wasn’t big enough to cool the room. It is May in Louisiana. If I return I will definitely check on that first. Great location and great staff at the front desk!

This is my second time staying here. It's always such a special place to stay - I can't describe any other hotel that would match my vibe more or would feel like home, and be walking distance to all the French Quarter spots. I stayed here for my birthday in March with a few close friends - The master bedroom was perfect for the rainy Sunday of our last day here, with a balcony view of the street. Don't expect luxury - expect bohemian/chill/classy.

The only thing great about this hotel is that it looks cute in photos. TLDR - leaky ceilings, mold, uncomfortable squeaky bed, no amenities, unhelpful staff Our room, #14, reeked of mold the second we walked in, but it was 1am and we had been traveling all day. There were visible marks on the walls and ceiling from previous leaks. The leaks were obviously not repaired and just painted over. I figured we’d ask about a different room in the morning. Around 7am a thunderstorm hit and water started pouring from the ceiling and around the window. I went for help as my husband tried to move our belongings as fast as possible. Management wasn’t helpful after this, they did drop by with a stack of towels (that i requested) and immediately left. We were not checked on at all, even hours later, and eventually had to request a refund and make new accommodations. They did not offer assistance finding new accommodations on a festival weekend, or ask if we needed anything at all. No assistance or concern from the staff was super frustrating. All we got was a ‘sorry for any inconvenience this caused’ as we checked out. The little sleep we did get was on a thin uncomfortable mattress on a squeaky metal frame. There was no shower curtain and when I asked I got a shrug and a suggestion to put towels on the ground? The rooftop bar was closed, 2 bottles of shampoo in the shower instead of shampoo and conditioner… just stay somewhere else, this place is not worth the cute aesthetic.

came for the barrels on the bayou beerfest, and the french quarter jazz fest. really convenient location. walking distance to a lot of places. there was a sitting area outside the rooms that was open air and i made sure to utilize that feature. attendant was friendly and explained everything well. would definitely stay here again next time i’m in town

We read the reviews like the rest of you and thought this place was great. When we arrived the lady at the front Heather was very sweet and a pleasent host. Honestly, throughout the trip the management were super accommodating and even upgraded us to the best standard room. It’s just the room, that threw me off. It is very old, poorly ventilated, windows are lock so wed often have to leave the door open to ensure air is fresh, the toilet seat can barely stay intact, the floor and shower remind me of a prison cell, and overall just so poorly renovated. We did get a good deal, but even then I cantd say the room was worth it. If you are just looking for a place to sleep, it’s definitely sleepable, and the building has nice knick knacks, as well as the host is good. But room, was not good.

Lovely experience, great atmosphere and I felt safe traveling. I got a room and it was perfect, the shower was super nice and seeing the exposed brick and having windows that opened was so nice! All staff were super friendly and helpful! I’ll absolutely stay here again!

Great location in the heart of the central banking district. Close access to street cars and naturally anywhere you'd want to go. My room was cozy and awesome. Great staff, very friendly and knowledgeable. When I come back to New Orleans I'll be coming here again!
