Had our wedding at MP. I can't put into words how incredible Margaret Place was/is. Kathleen was genuinely one of my favorite and best wedding contacts while we were planning our wedding. This place will go ABOVE and BEYOND. Kathleen and I exchanged over 80 email throughout our wedding planning process. She always answered promptly. She never seemed bothered by my ideas or my anxious questions. She was always willing to welcome us in person for a meeting or walkthrough. IF YOU ARE AN ANXIOUS AND OUT-OF-TOWN BRIDE LIKE MYSELF, MARGARET PLACE IS THEE PLACE. These people are competent, helpful, and kind. Every guest we spoke to said it was the best wedding they had ever attended and though I am biased, I agree. The venue is STUNNING. People were genuinely amazed with how beautiful it was at night under the lights and balcony. It comes with everything you need: lighting, bar, tables, chairs, a disco ball (!!!), sound, A TENT, three signature cocktails, and the best team in the business. If you can dream it, they can do it. Not to mention my husband and I had access to the bridal and grooms suites so not only were we able to get ready there, but we were also able to sneak upstairs whenever we needed something. I am including some details of our day because it was so hard for me to find past reviews that included this info but I think it could be helpful: -Guest count was between 135 and 140 -We did reception/cocktail style and it was perfect -We got married at the end of March and had our ceremony offsite at a church

Book this venue for your wedding day! We are so glad we chose Margaret Place. From the beginning, they exude competence. Kathleen and Trent are communicative, proactive, organized, and so helpful. They provide customized floor plans for your ceremony/reception (to scale) and also prepare separate floor plans in case of rain. We had 110 people for a seated dinner and this venue felt like the perfect size. Additionally, their bar package is one of the best in the city (both quality and price) — can’t say enough! Not only is this venue beautiful during the day, it was really spectacular with string lighting at night. Our wedding day was the greatest. Book Margaret Place, you won’t regret it!

I waited two years to leave my review because I thought it would do some justice. My now husband and I chose this being you for our wedding on July 1, 2023. The venue owner was very active during my wedding ceremony ruined my entire time there we agreed when I paid that I was able to have a cannabis theme event, and he waited until the wedding had already started to spaz out while in front of my guest spares out in front of my wedding party while I was on the dance floor talking to guest he came up to me telling me my time was up when in fact, we had two hours 2 to 3 hours still remaining because the wedding didn’t start until Eight that night or six at night . The venue was absolutely beautiful. They never apologized they never offered any kind words. I didn’t ask for a discount and I want to see if you’re black do not have your witness at this venue because even though they are of the LGBTQ community, someone that had a problem with what was going on at the wedding, knowing that it was going to happen, should have come to me or my wedding planner and talk to them instead of spazzing out in front of my guest. Then turning to rob us of time we paid for. And I wanna make note that the cannabis use was only in the food. He made us put the cannabis food outside the venue in the back alley. He will not allow us to serve it on the We discussed the event being cannabis theme having cannabis food, giving out joints. But because of how he came in we could put out anything not even the infused liquor.

BOOK THIS VENUE!! I don't have the words to describe how grateful I was for the team at Margaret Place! They made our wedding day a dream come true. From the very first meeting with Kathleen and Trenton, we felt at home. We knew they were giving us permission to have our wedding day OUR WAY... without any boundaries or "rules"... They were the best partners for our 150-person ceremony and reception. They constantly answered all of our questions. Worked with all of our vendors seamlessly... My family, friends and vendors had nothing but amazing things to say. They loved the venue so much. Thank you Margaret Place for an unforgettable wedding experience! Also the bridal suite... 10/10!

Wow. I have so many good things to say about this place. We quickly chose to have our wedding at MP for many reasons: the gorgeous courtyard, transparent pricing/calendaring, and the honest owners. We really felt like we got everything on our checklist by choosing Margaret Place! Before the wedding, Trent and Laurel helped us with everything from designing specialty drinks (their drink package is insanely good btw) to ideas for our timeline, seating layouts, second line routes, music, and more. They were super kind and great to work with. During our wedding day, we took full advantage of getting ready in the bridal suite and it was so nice to have the place to ourselves. I loved not having to arrange a separate place to get ready and transport the bridal party. The bridal suite is gorgeous and spacious, and everything you would want. We had around 80 people and the courtyard space felt both intimate and spacious. The second line route closed down a part of St. Charles, which was pretty iconic. And we loved feeling like we were close to the FQ and GD while still being tucked away from random passerby’s. The owners and staff truly care about you having an excellent party, and our friends, family, and vendors all loved being there. Margaret Place is a THE place for your wedding!

I am a local New Orleans wedding photographer. We just recently shot this wedding at Margaret Place. It is the perfect place to have your wedding in New Orleans! Not only is the venue gorgeous and one of a kind but the staff there treats everyone right! The rooms are beautiful and spacious and every inch of this entire place is picture perfect!

We stayed in the Upriver room. We had a great stay. The room is nicely appointed. The bathroom is awesome with the bidet and digital shower. The only thing to consider for this room is the bed is very low to the floor. Not a huge problem for us, but I do wish it was a normal height bed. Also there is some traffic noise at night. Not a big deal. Kind of white noise. We would 100% stay here again and recommend it.

I booked 3 nights recently for a expo that I was attending nearby. The Manager was a pleasure to talk to! She was very responsive to questions and provided answers and info for everything I needed. The cafe' was very good and the staff was amazing and kind. They make a great breakfast sandwich! I had to leave very early on my last day (before the cafe' opened) and the chef offered to come in early just to make me some breakfast. The building was very nice and well kept. A beautiful historic building on the outside, but on the inside all of the rooms are very updated with a lot of modern amenities. This is one hotel where I feel the pictures do not lie. I would stay here again next time I visit NOLA.

My husband and I were absolutely blown away by our stay here! Trent and Jen were the most amazing hosts- going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. They gave us amazing recommendations on places to visit, restaurants to hit, etc. that gave us a new appreciation for NOLA. Our room was incredible! The thought they put into their renovations was clear to see; heated towel racks, air purifier, and the most comfortable mattress/sheets are just a few of the amenities to look out for! Location was very safe and we felt very comfortable leaving our car parked on the street. You are super close to many great attractions. We have already recommended Margaret Place to all our friends and family, and can't wait to plan our next trip to stay here again!
